so i found out my dad's fax machine has a hidden scanner in it. i scanned some stuff but i can't get it to look good (not to mention my paper is too big to fit completely on the bed). turns out my camera takes better photos of the art than the scanner.

Heh, I have similar trouble with scanners.

This is a beautiful piece. I love the soft linework and yellow paper. That and the old-fashioned dress makes it look old-timey.

PHOTOSHOP!!!! it really helps clean up pictures ^^ got to image/agust/brightness contrast/ and edit
you can also look though a lot of tutorials for more help
(since Im going off memory and might be wrong about some things)
you can also use this technick to clear up your photos ^^

i am currently using photoshop to brighten up all those crappy photos. i used it on this picture--i could have gotten it sharper but i decided to stop there.

yeah if you go to sharp it starts looking jagged and ruins the whole picture...I have that problem a lot ^^'
